As well as doing exercise, training our body and eating well. It is also important we train our mind, and through meditation we can gain that spiritual nutrition we need. This can strengthen our health and fitness programme at a much deeper level and at the end of the day should make you a happier person. I think that we all want to be happy. Meditation is a great tool to help us find this happiness that we desire.
Dont forget with meditation you are training you mind, which means you will have some great meditations and some not so good. As long as you are meditating then you are doing good. You only need to meditate for between 10 to 15mins to begin with.
Dont forget, it is the quality of the meditation not the length that is important.
