Portion size is VERY important if you want to loose weight, but it is SO easy to give yourself too much. Cerial is a classic example. The bowls we use today are BIG so if you just mindlessly fill one of these bowls you will end up with a DOUBLE portion of cerial!!
So what do you do to avoid this??
What I do is fill a normal mug full of cerial, to about the level as if it were coffee. Then tip that into an empty bowl.
You will now see that the cerial only fills the bowl half way up, but belive me, that portion if perfectly fine. Tip desired milk on and enjoy….
