Sams Juice Recipes..

I tend to be drinking two juices a day, although not always, as I go away on tour etc.. which can make this  abit more difficult.  But normally at home I drink a juice for Breakfast and then a FAB Mighty Green Juice for lunch or tea.  I then have one main meal in the day, again either lunch or tea.  My Main meal (actual food) is also as unprocessed and as natural as I can get(but not always).  I dont go for complex carbs (bread, pastry, pasta, cheese) or processed (ready meals, quorn) where possible, obiously there are times I may have a bit of this, but a bit is the key.

I should also explain, my inspiration and starting point for all my juices came from Jason Vale.  I have now changed the recipes slightly to add EVEN MORE goodness into them!

MY JUICES

Breakfast Juice

Only a juicer is required for this juice, I put my glass under the spout of the juicer and it makes a large glass full 🙂

Ingredients

  • 2 Medium Carrots
  • 2 Apples (not granny smith)
  • 1 stick of Celery
  • 3cm bit of Cucumber
  • Half a large beetroot  (you can leave this out if you dont like it, but start with a small bit to get used to the taste and increase it as you get used to it)
  • 3cm Fresh Ginger
  • 1 ice cube (Dont put it into your juicer! just in your glass)
  • Drink and enjoy!!

  • Bag of Naturya Hemp Protein Powder (not essential but good, I get it from Amazon)
  • Tub of Dr Schultz Superfood Plus (I get this from a friend, can be bought online)
  • Avacardo (I buy the packs of 4 small avacados)
  • Bag of Psyllium Husks (I got these from Amazon, they add fibre)
  • Spinach
  • 3 spoonfuls of Alfalfa Sprouts (from sprouter)
  • Kale
  • A shake / squeeze of lemon Juice (optional)
  • Frozen banana
  • 4 Ice cubes (preferable filtered water)
  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Apples
  • 2cm Slice of Pineapple
  • 3cm Fresh Ginger (add to taste)
  • 2 sticks of Celery
  • 1 quarter of cucumber

Start at your blender

Fill your blender with –

  • 1 small Avacardo
  • Handful of Spinach
  • 3 spoonfuls of Alfalfa Sprouts (from sprouter)
  • Handful of Kale
  • A shake / squeeze of lemon juice (optional)
  • Lg Spoonful of Psyllium Husks
  • Frozen banana
  • 4 Ice cubes (preferable filtered water)
  • Lg Spoonful of Naturya Wheatgrass Powder (put in last)
  • Lg Spoonful of Naturya Hemp Protein Powder (put in last)
  •  Lg Spoonful of Dr Schultz Superfood Plus (put in last)

Once you have filled your blender with all the above do not turn it on!! Go to your Juicer and then Juice the following

  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Apples
  • 2cm Slice of Pineapple
  • 3cm Fresh Ginger (add to taste)
  • 2 sticks of Celery
  • 1 quarter of cucumber
  • clean your juicer!! Dry and put back ready to use again
  • Tip juice from juicer into blender
  • Turn Blender on
  • Drink and enjoy!! 🙂

This recipe FILLS your blender jug, so it is quite a good amount of juice but it IS a meal so dont worry about it.  The vitamins, minerals & everything else you get in this juice is quite hard to actually right down!!!

If you dont have everything on the list, DONT LET THAT STOP YOU!!  just juice without it until you pick up everything.  Just start Juicing, thats the key, so what are you waiting for?

GET JUICING!!

Remember – this is the juice of life, and if you ever need motivation to do it, just think that every drop of Breakfast Juice or Mighty Green Juice you drink will be nurishing EVERY single cell in your body and doing you SO SO much good.  You need to take care of your body from within, then everything around you will fit into place.

Happy Juicing!!
