we are living beings that need to eat, living food. When I say this I dont mean meat, as that is very clearly dead food!! I am talking about a vegitable based, this helps build u out life force and longevity.
It may also be easier to think what ‘living’ food is if you think about what ‘dead’ food is.
this is food that quite literally has all of its life blasted out of it. Some of these things are –
- Over cooked vegitables
- Pasturised milk, drinks, juices
- Ready meals
- Instant mash potato
- Chocolate bars
- Chicken Nugets
As you can see it is quite a list, if you start to look at the list you will see that anything ‘processed’ essentially has no ‘life’ left in it!! The nutrients, life force, natures energy, is cooked, mashed, boiled right out of the food. Then it is ‘Reformed’ to create a new shape that they sell us as a ‘new’ thing we have to have, thats low in salt, sugar so its ‘healthy’ for us!!!
It may be healthy if your dead, but if you want food that keeps you alive, gives you energy, that has ‘real’ taste, not added, concentrated or enhanced. Then…
“eat for life, not for death”
So what food can we eat that is ‘alive’???
The less the food is altered the better, there are a few things to look out for when making your ‘food choice’
- Can you see the ingredients in what you are eating (ie they havent been mashed up or reformed in any way)
- You can understand everything on the ingredients list
- what you eating could have been growing in your garden a while ago
So what things are good to eat, when you eat a wholefood, living diet?
You should eat things like…
- ALL fruits and vegitables
- Nuts and seeds
- Sprouting beans (alfalfa, mung bean)
- dried fruits
- Nut & seed milks (avoid dairy)
- Pickles olives / tomatos / onions
- Ryvita biscuits
- cold pressed oil (like olive, linseed, seasame)
If you eat stuff from the above you will feel far more nurished, complete, healthy and good. You will feel alive, because the food you are eating is REAL food, not chemically poisoned with sugar, fats and salts. Though poisoned seems a strong word to use, the hidden fats, sugar & salts in these processed food are really dangerous in the long term and if not managed could lead you to become obese or even worse morbidly obese and not very happy.
